Notes for Installation of Multi-Wedge Belt:
1. In the installation of multi-wedge belt, should be adjusted in the multi-wedge belt pulley shaft spacing is to pay attention to do not use sharp objects forced hanging, so that the multi-wedge belt caused damage;
2. The wheel groove with multi-wedge wheels shall be kept clean at any time to prevent oil, dust or chemical adhesion;
3. The multi-wedge belt transmission system must pay attention to the multi-wedge belt wheel between the two shafts to maintain parallel, the wheel groove needs to agree on the line, the multi-wedge belt and shaft need to be a right Angle state, to prevent the multi-wedge belt bias wear, so as to shorten the life of the multi-wedge belt;
4. The right choice of the appropriate multi-wedge belt and multi-wedge belt wheel to drive, otherwise it may make the multi-wedge belt all fall into the multi-wedge wheel so that the multi-wedge belt all wear;
5. It is necessary to determine the initial tension of the multi-wedge belt, the tension is too loose or too tight will cause many wedge belt damage;
Multi - Wedge with Tension Preset:
(1)The size of the Angle of the multi-wedge belt is the most important parameter in the transmission design of the multi-wedge belt. After the effective diameter of the multi-wedge belt pulley and the position of the multi-wedge belt pulley are determined, the size of the Angle of the multi-wedge belt also needs to be determined;
(2)If the wrap Angle of the multi-wedge belt is too small, the effective diameter of the multi-wedge belt pulley shall be re-determined or the position of the multi-wedge belt pulley shall be adjusted;
(3)An idler wheel or a tensioning wheel can be used to increase the wrap Angle of the multi-wedge belt if the structure permits;
(4)The pretension of multi - wedge belt is a necessary condition to ensure the normal operation of multi - wedge belt gear train. When the tension is insufficient, the multi-wedge belt will slip, but if the tension is too high, the life of the multi-wedge belt will be reduced;
(5)Because there are many factors affecting the life span of the multi-wedge belt, the pre-tension of the multi-wedge belt in the design should be given according to experience or reasonable calculation, and strict control should be carried out in the equipment adjustment;
